My sister has been raving about Multnomah Falls for the last several years so I had high expectations when we stopped for a visit on the way into Portland. It did not disappoint. The waterfall was gorgeous! I loved the beautiful effect that the mist from the waterfall had upon the sunlight. We even had a picnic while we were there so we got to enjoy the waterfall for longer. We only climbed up to the bridge but next time when we stop and our kids are older, I think that it would be fun to climb to the top.
My daughters loved the waterfall so much that they requested we stop on the way back. The moss that grows on all of the rocks in western Oregon is beautiful.
