After our adventures in Portland we spend the night in Hillsboro, Oregon so that we could be close to Forrest Grove where my brother is attending school. We spent an hour or so with him touring his campus before we headed northwest to the coast. The drive from Forrest Grove to Cannon beach went very quickly and before we knew it we were experiencing this breathtaking sight first-hand. We parked and walked along the beach toward Haystack Rock and let the girls dip their feet in... or in the case of my youngest her entire body.
